Dealing with Grief

While going  through the grieving process there will be many times that you will feel awkward: your child has died, and you have an overflow of emotions. All of your hopes and dreams for your child have come to a standstill; and now you are beginning a journey that seems uncertain, and terrifying. The feelings that you are about to feel are overwhelming and unlike any emotions you have ever felt in your life: you may feel that everything is spinning out of control and believe it or not, all of these things are to be expected. These feelings are NORMAL. Don't beat yourself up and don't try to suppress your emotions; holding them in only makes things worse.
